M Squared Construction worked as an assistant superintendent on the Colorado State University - Transit Center project. The Transit Center project was a $4.5 Million Joint venture between the City of Fort Collins and Colorado State University build with the intent to promote mass transit on the CSU campus.
The Transit Center project consisted of concrete caissons and foundations, steel structure with elevated concrete second floor, brick and glass exterior, interior offices, meeting rooms, a convenience store and a transit transaction center.
Mark Young Construction was the general contractor for the project responsible for all subcontractors and material suppliers. Max Millen of M Squared worked for MYC as an assistant superintendent and I worked with him on an almost daily basis. I found Max to be very good at planning his work activities, accurate at establishing his construction schedule and detailed in submittals and requests for information.
But what I liked most about Max was his open and honest approach to solving problems. Whenever a problem arose, we would talk about the issue and resolve for the betterment of all concerned and at the lowest cost to the University.
